“Secrets of Scent: Art, Science and Our Sense of Smell” was an event co-hosted by the MIT McGovern Institute, the MIT Center for Art, Science & Technology and the MIT List Visual Arts Center. The event celebrated the opening of “6,070,430K Digital Spit”, an exhibition by artist Anicka Yi in the List Visual Arts Center. Speakers included Gloria Choi, Principal Investigator in the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT and an Assistant Professor in MIT’s Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Leila W. Kinney, Executive Director of Arts Initiatives and the Center for Art, Science & Technology, and Paul Ha, Director of the List Visual Arts Center.
