Arts on the Radar

Arts on the Radar is an annual event held at MIT in September to kick off the new academic year. Co-hosted by arts entities across the Institute, the event highlights the Student Lending Art Program (an exhibition of art work students can borrow to hang in their home for free from the MIT Collection), biannually awarded grants for student art projects offered by the Council for the Arts at MIT, art work and live music by MIT students, and an interactive art installation by visiting artists.

Created collateral includes:

  • Graphic design and branding including an illustration of a disco ball used for digital advertising on social media, email, and websites, and printed posters and postcards
  • Day-of event materials: wayfinding signage, a step-and-repeat photo backdrop, printed event program, and digital signage
  • Event photography distributed via social media
