The MIT Arts Scholars program is a group of undergrad and graduate MIT students who possess an exceptional passion for the arts, whether they are active creators or ardent connoisseurs. This peer-driven arts collective participates in a wide array of thoughtfully curated arts experiences, both on and off campus, and is generously supported by the Council for the Arts at MIT.
During the MIT Arts Scholars Drawing at MIT Workshop, participants were introduced to the history of architectural drawing and its role at the Institute by Jonathan Duval, Assistant Curator of Architecture and Design. The event was held in the Ann Chase Allen Workshop at the MIT Museum and offered a blend of discussion, a hands-on drawing experience, and the chance to meet fellow Arts Scholars and new subscribers over dinner.
